CDL Class A Driver — Double Nickel Logistics LLC

Double Nickel Logistics LLC is hiring Class A CDL Drivers to join our growing transportation operation in Lexington, Kentucky.

As a CDL Class A Driver, you will safely operate a commercial tractor and transport freight on assigned routes. Drivers are responsible for operating safely, maintaining compliance with DOT and company requirements, and providing reliable service while representing Double Nickel Logistics professionally.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a Class 8 tractor on assigned routes.
• Transport and deliver freight safely and on schedule.
• Complete required inspections before and after each shift.
• Maintain accurate logs, delivery documentation, and electronic records.
• Communicate with dispatch regarding routes, delays, and operational issues.
• Follow all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies.
• Maintain a professional and courteous manner at all times.
• Report vehicle, safety, or operational concerns promptly.
• Follow all required company and customer procedures.

Requirements:

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A).
• Acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass required background, driving record, and employment screening.
• Ability to meet applicable DOT and company qualification requirements.
• Reliable attendance and strong time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous tractor-trailer experience preferred.

• Schedule & Pay:
• $24.00 per hour
• Overtime available
• 4 days on / 4 days off schedule
• Day and night shifts may be available.
• Extended shifts may be required based on operational needs.

Physical Requirements:

• Extended periods of driving
• Ability to enter and exit the tractor repeatedly.
• Ability to perform required vehicle inspections.
• Ability to handle freight-related duties as required.
• Ability to work in varying outdoor weather conditions.
