Job description

You possess a strong work ethic, you strive for efficiency, and you shine in collaborative workspaces. Youre always looking for ways to improve, and youll go the extra mile to make sure the job is done right.

If this sounds like you, you may be ready to step into the Dot Foods warehouse as a Packaging and Assembly Handler. If youre willing to work hard and try something new, this job is for you.


WHAT YOULL DO

    • Transfer product to and from warehouse or trailers
    • Complete relabeling and repackaging of products
    • Maintain basic housekeeping of workspace
    • Interact as necessary with Food Safety and Inspection Service representatives
    • Maintain adequate packaging supplies
    • Complete paperwork for all projects completed
    • Process single case orders including sample orders
    • Complete other warehouse tasks as required
    • Meet all expectations in warehouse facility
    • Support general warehouse floor activity as needed

YOU MUST HAVE

    • Ability to lift cases up to 50 pounds
    • Ability to pass standard physical abilities test
    • Attention to detail
    • A dedication to eliminating waste in all areas of the position
    • Must be currently employed by Dot Foods or Dot Transportation

YOU MAY ALSO HAVE

    • Experience in a warehouse environment
    • Computer experience
    • Ability to operate forklift

ROLE SPECIFICS

  • Extensive standing/walking on concrete
  • Work in temperatures that range from -20C to 20C
