Team members collaborate closely with clients and partners, working with diverse materials, textures, and design solutions to bring each vision to life.

Role Description The Procurement & Project Manager is a 20-30 hour a week - hybrid job based in Glencoe, IL, with flexibility for some work from home and opportunity for full time employment. This role requires a car and oversees end-to-end procurement processes for furnishings, finishes, and materials, including sourcing, vendor coordination, purchase order management, and delivery scheduling. The individual will manage project timelines and budgets, track progress against milestones, and ensure installations and inspections are completed on schedule and to quality standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include expediting orders, resolving logistics issues, coordinating with designers, contractors, and vendors, and maintaining accurate project documentation. The Procurement & Project Manager will support continuous process improvements, uphold Divvy House’s standards of excellence, and help ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Qualifications

  • Strong expediting and expeditor experience, including managing purchase orders, tracking shipments, and accelerating deliveries when needed.
  • Proven project management skills with experience in planning, scheduling, budget tracking, and coordinating multiple stakeholders.
  • Inspection and quality assurance capabilities to verify materials, finishes, and installations meet specifications and design standards.
  • Logistics management skills, including vendor coordination, freight and installation scheduling, and resolving delivery or warehousing issues.
  • Relevant experience in interior design, architecture, construction, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a small, fast-paced team environment.
  • Proficiency with project management and productivity tools; familiarity with design or procurement software is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, project management, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
