Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients’ backgrounds and mental health needs.
• Develop tailored therapeutic strategies and offer individualized therapy sessions aligned with client goals.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short-term therapy.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to create holistic treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Engage in ongoing professional development by participating in workshops and staying abreast of the latest in mental health research.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an LPC at Divine Health Corporation, you will work with a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, adults, and families. You will address a range of mental health issues, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. The focus will be on providing compassionate care to those who may have limited access to mental health resources.

Qualifications

• A master's or doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Active and unrestricted LPC licensure in the state of Texas.
• Minimum of two years of counseling experience, particularly in a clinical setting.
• Strong understanding of mental health best practices, legal, and ethical standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients from various backgrounds.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team environment.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) software and telehealth platforms.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, substance use disorders, or trauma-informed care is highly preferred.
• Experience working with underserved populations and an understanding of the barriers they face in accessing mental health services.
