Discover Recovery Treatment Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist, holding credentials as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW, to join our team on a full-time basis. Work Environment

This position is designed to be fully remote, allowing our therapists the flexibility to work from the comfort of their homes while maintaining a strong connection with the team and clients through electronic communications and telehealth platforms. Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate client needs to develop tailored treatment plans that incorporate psychoeducational and transitional therapy strategies.
• Conduct initial mental status exams and gather thorough histories covering behavioral health, substance use, trauma exposure, and relevant functional impairments to inform clinical decision-making.
• Engage collaboratively with clients to formulate individualized treatment goals aimed at addressing their specific mental health symptoms and improving their quality of life.
• Implement culturally competent and trauma-informed methodologies throughout the therapeutic process, ensuring practices respect the diverse backgrounds of clients.
• Utilize effective crisis intervention techniques and suicide prevention strategies to manage at-risk patients compassionately and professionally.
• Guide clients in navigating community resources and services, thereby removing barriers to care and prioritizing necessary supports.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our therapists work with a diverse client base, including adults, couples, and families grappling with issues such as trauma, anxiety, depression, and relational conflicts. Qualifications

• A Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology is required, with active licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.
• A minimum of three years of experience providing therapy, particularly in crisis counseling and with outpatient populations, is essential.
• Strong ability to collect, analyze, and synthesize data to inform treatment plans and provide effective care.
• Excellent skills in group therapy facilitation, demonstrating the capacity to lead and engage participants in therapeutic discussions.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with diverse populations and an understanding of culturally competent practices is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with telehealth technology and experience in delivering care remotely will be an advantage.
• Background in substance abuse treatment and interventions is beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits
