Position: Billing & Credentialing Specialist

Status: Part-Time Independent Contractor (1099)

Location: Remote

Compensation: TBD

Payment Schedule: Biweekly

Reports To: Paul Flatley, DO, FASAM

The Billing and Credentialing Specialist supports the financial and administrative operations of

Direct2Recovery through billing, insurance follow-up, collections, prior authorizations, and provider

credentialing activities.

Primary Responsibilities

• Insurance eligibility verification

• Claim submission and denial management

• Accounts receivable follow-up

• Payment posting and reconciliation

• Patient collections and statements

• Prior authorizations

• Provider credentialing and recredentialing

• CAQH maintenance and payer enrollment

• Communication with insurance companies and patients

• Administrative reporting and support

• Other duties as assigned
