The Front Desk plays a vital role in managing the smooth operation of the front desk within a small team of 1-3 people. This position reports directly to the Department Head and primarily supports visitor management, communication, and administrative duties during weekday daytime hours, ensuring a welcoming and organized environment for both staff and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers and visitors promptly and courteously
- Handle incoming phone calls and direct them appropriately
- Manage visitor check-ins and maintain visitor logs
- Perform accurate data entry for various administrative records
- Disseminate information to staff, visitors, and other stakeholders
- Receive, sort, and distribute mail and deliveries
- Monitor and reorder office supplies to maintain adequate stock
- Resolve routine issues or escalate as necessary
- Serve as a communication liaison between the front desk and other departments

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong customer service skills
