Job description

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Non-Invasive Cardiologist you will leverage your board certification/eligibility in cardiology to contribute to an esteemed academic group model, shaping the future of cardiovascular medicine. This pivotal role within Dignity Health Cardiovascular Services at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center offers the unique opportunity to integrate clinical excellence with medical education, becoming a valued faculty member affiliated with Creighton SOM. You will champion the development of future cardiac specialists, engaging in robust fellowship training, and fostering scholarly inquiry through encouraged clinical research opportunities within a supportive environment.

Every day you will split your expertise between comprehensive inpatient and outpatient cardiology consultations, managing a diverse patient panel from a single, conveniently located campus clinic. You'll collaborate with a dedicated full support staff, accessing advanced cardiovascular services that span structural and interventional cardiology. Your commitment to patient care and academic advancement will directly impact a rapidly expanding community, allowing for an exceptional work-life balance in a dynamic urban setting.

To be successful in this role, you will possess a strong foundation in non-invasive cardiology, demonstrating a profound passion for both clinical practice and teaching at an academic health center. Ideal candidates will showcase excellent communication skills, a proactive approach to interdisciplinary collaboration, and a commitment to advancing cardiovascular care through innovation and evidence-based medicine. Your ability to inspire and mentor the next generation of cardiologists, coupled with a desire to contribute to a thriving and growing program, will be paramount.

We are offering a competitive 2 year salary guarantee then RVU-based, a sign-on bonus, full benefits, CME allowance, Malpractice with tail coverage, and relocation assistance for eligible candidates. We also offer a retirement plan with employer match. Qualified candidates may also be eligible for student loan repayment.
