Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Specialist to join our team in Rockford, IL, 61109. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of products and processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Identify and document quality issues, and work collaboratively with teams to implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain quality control procedures and documentation.
  • Assist in training staff on quality standards and best practices.
  • Analyze data and generate reports to track quality metrics and trends.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
  • Stay updated on industry standards and regulations related to quality assurance.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance roles.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems and tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and quality management software
  • Read micrometers, calipers, durometer, blueprints, and optical comparator
  • Able to preform internal audits per AS9100/IATF 16949
  • Knowledge using New-Inspect is a plus

This is a temp to hire OR direct hire opportunity with a growing company. 1st Shift 6am to 3:30pm Mon-Thur and 7am to 11am on Friday.

You should be proficient in:

  • PPAP Process Experience
  • AS9100 Experience
