Deufol is looking for a Material Site Assistant to join our Houston team immediately! If you have forklift experience, enjoy working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, and take pride in handling materials safely and efficiently, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do

As a Material Site Assistant, you'll be responsible for the safe movement, loading, unloading, staging, and handling of large, heavy, high-value, and sometimes fragile materials and equipment. Safety, attention to detail, and teamwork are key to success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts and other powered industrial equipment
• Load and unload trucks with oversized, heavy, and fragile equipment
• Move, stage, and store materials throughout the warehouse
• Inspect materials for damage and verify shipments against documentation
• Perform daily forklift inspections and report maintenance concerns
• Follow all OSHA, company, and customer safety procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred
• Previous forklift experience required (large-capacity forklift experience is a plus)
• Experience loading and unloading industrial equipment or oversized materials preferred
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
• Basic math and documentation skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Reliable, dependable, and able to work well with a team
