Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with reliable suppliers and vendors.
  • Source goods, services, equipment, and other resources based on quality, cost, availability, and business requirements.
  • Negotiate pricing, payment terms, contracts, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
  • Review and approve purchase requisitions, purchase orders, invoices, and related procurement documentation.
  • Monitor supplier performance, delivery timelines, product quality, and compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records, vendor information, contracts, and purchasing documentation.
  • Analyze purchasing data and market trends to identify cost-saving and process-improvement opportunities.
  • Work closely with finance, operations, administration, and other departments to forecast purchasing needs.
  • Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, applicable regulations, and internal approval procedures.
  • Manage supplier issues, delivery delays, discrepancies, and other procurement-related concerns.
  • Establish and maintain strong professional relationships with key vendors and strategic suppliers.
  • Monitor procurement budgets and help control unnecessary or excessive expenditures.
  • Prepare procurement reports, performance metrics, cost analyses, and management updates.
  • Continuously evaluate procurement processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Maintain confidentiality of pricing, contracts, supplier information, and other sensitive business information.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement principles, purchasing processes, and supplier management.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate pricing, contracts, terms, and service agreements.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, procurement systems, and business software.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong judgment, professionalism, integrity, and accountability.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with procurement or ERP software.
  • Vendor evaluation and contract-management experience.
  • Strong data analysis and cost-management skills.
  • Knowledge of inventory management and supply-chain processes.
  • Ability to identify cost-reduction and operational-efficiency opportunities.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-management skills.
  • Experience working independently in a remote or distributed environment.

A successful Procurement Manager ensures that DesignNRank obtains the right products and services, at the right quality, price, and time, while maintaining strong supplier relationships and effective procurement controls. The ideal candidate will be strategic, analytical, organized, commercially minded, and capable of driving measurable improvements in procurement efficiency and cost management.
