Description
Delta Health System is seeking a dedicated Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) Specialist to join our patient-focused team.
Requirements:
  • Responsible for the maintenance, optimization, and ongoing development of the MEDITECH laboratory electronic health record (EHR) platforms.
  • Will support all laboratory disciplines including Blood Bank, Microbiology, General Laboratory, Pathology, and Cytology.
  • Minimum - Associate's degree in medical laboratory technology or chemistry, biology, or related science
  • Preferred - Bachelor's degree in medical laboratory science, health information technology, or related field OR equivalent experience
  • 3 - 5 years of experience as certified MLT/MLS
  • 5+ years of experience preferred with health information technology and implementation/maintenance of LIS
