Data Analyst – 5

Location Address: 40 Temperance Street 8th Floor – hybrid – onsite 4x/week

Contract Duration: 1 year

Possibility of extension and conversion to FTE

Number of Positions: 1

Schedule Hours: 9am-5pm Monday-Friday; standard 37.5 hrs/week (Possible OT)

Reason: additional workload

Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:

1. 10+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or insights roles, or related fields (some experience within Canadian Banking)

2. Solid knowledge of Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft Power Platform

3. Solid understanding of ETL processes, data mining, profiling, cleansing and enrichment

4. Strong analytical skills to identify and evaluate unusual numbers and trends

5. Strong proficiency with Excel and other MS products

Nice-To-Have Skills:

- Master’s degree or MBA

- Experience with Azure Databricks, GCP

-previous experience working on large-scale transformational projects

Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, analytics computer science, finance, or related field

A successful candidate will be a dynamic and organized self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity, detail-oriented, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The focus will be on ability to analyze data and familiarity with the banking industry. Candidate must be very comfortable working with multiple stakeholders, including technology partners.

Candidate Review & Selection

2 rounds

1st round – HM – 30 mins – MS Teams Video (cultural/personality fit, meet and greet, overview of experience)

2nd round – panel (Data analytics engineers, product lab) – 45 mins – in-person (behavioural/situational)

3rd round – VP – 30 mins – MS teams Video (to make final decision)

In-person interview will be at 40 Temperance St

-go to ground security, they will lead them to reception and HM will find them there
