We are looking for a detail-oriented Fiberglass Final to ensure our products meet the highest quality and appearance standards before shipment. This role is critical in delivering a finished product that reflects craftsmanship, precision, and pride in work.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Perform final finishing on fiberglass products, including sanding, buffing, polishing, and detailing surfaces.

Inspect products for defects such as scratches, air bubbles, uneven surfaces, or cosmetic imperfections.

Repair minor defects using appropriate materials and techniques to meet quality standards.

Ensure all parts meet company specifications, customer expectations, and quality requirements prior to shipment.

Follow work instructions, finishing standards, and quality guidelines consistently.

Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively (sanders, buffers, grinders, etc.).

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in alignment with 5S/6S standards.

Work closely with production, quality, and supervisors to address and resolve defects.

Track and report recurring defects or issues to support continuous improvement efforts.

Meet production goals while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.

Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE such as respirators, gloves, and eye protection.

Education & Experience

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Previous experience in fiberglass finishing, automotive body work, manufacturing, or similar hands-on roles preferred.

Experience with sanding, polishing, or surface finishing techniques is a strong plus.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods of time.

Frequent use of hands for sanding, polishing, and detailed work.

Ability to lift up to 40-50 pounds as needed.

Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with dust, noise, and varying temperatures.

Must be able to wear required PPE, including respirators if needed.
