Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of clients' mental health to determine their treatment needs and goals.
• Develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual clients, utilizing evidence-based interventions that promote positive outcomes.
• Provide regular individual and group therapy sessions that focus on empowering clients and equipping them with effective coping strategies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR) while adhering to ethical guidelines of confidentiality and privacy.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
• Stay informed on the latest developments in mental health practices and continue to enhance therapeutic skills through professional development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Delicate Touch Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse clientele experiencing a broad range of mental health challenges, including but not limited to substance abuse, anxiety disorders, depression, and eating disorders. Your expertise will be instrumental in providing culturally sensitive care that respects and addresses the unique needs of each individual, ensuring that all clients feel heard, valued, and supported throughout their therapeutic journey.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia.
• A minimum of four years of relevant experience in a clinical or counseling setting, demonstrating a deep understanding of mental health disorders.
• Proven ability to deliver individual and group therapy using culturally responsive and inclusive methodologies.
• Exceptional crisis intervention skills and the capacity to maintain composure in high-pressure situations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, essential for building rapport with a diverse range of clients.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarization with various computer applications.
• Commitment to upholding professional boundaries and ethical standards within practice.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to enhance integrated care.

Preferred Experience

Prior experience in a community health environment and familiarity with utilizing telehealth platforms is highly desired. Experience working with various patient demographics, including underserved populations, is advantageous and will further ensure a positive impact in our community.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to USD 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
