Licensed Optician Wanted — Private Optometry Practice in Historic Delaware, Ohio

We’re a private optometry practice nestled in Delaware, Ohio’s charming historic district, and we’re looking for a licensed optician who takes pride in patient care and enjoys the personal touch of small-town practice life.


Responsibilities

  • Dispense spectacle lenses and adjust eyewear frames with precision, ensuring optimal fit and comfort for each patient
  • Conduct thorough eyewear fittings, including measurements of pupillary distance and frame adjustments
  • Assist patients in selecting appropriate eyewear based on their prescription, lifestyle needs, and personal style preferences
  • Maintain accurate medical records using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) or Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems while adhering to clinical confidentiality policies and HIPAA regulations
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient inquiries, explaining medical terminology related to vision care, and guiding them through insurance or medical coding procedures
