Job description

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Responsible to safely operate: front end loader, tractor, and fork lift, in accordance with all applicable OSHA Regulations.
  • Basic knowledge of machinery maintenance and service.
  • Operate small dump truck.
  • Work without direct supervision.
  • Operate all equipment according to manufacturers' printed material.
  • Use sound judgment when using equipment around horses.
  • Maintain constant surveillance of the grounds for safety concerns.
  • Report all maintenance repairs immediately to supervisor.
  • Responsible to read and understand all safety rules for each piece of equipment.
  • Attends all safety and/ or OSHA training sessions as required.
  • Assist with all duties associated with snow removal.
  • Promotes honesty and trust amongst the team.
  • Promotes outstanding customer relations.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Previous OSHA Certified Forklift Training a plus.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Must be able to lift Fifty (50) lbs. without difficulty.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to work in extremes of weather.
  • Must be able to remain highly flexible in an environment of constant change.
  • Promotes honesty and trust amongst the team.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule according to the needs of the business including evenings, weekends and holidays.
