 Automotive Technician / Mechanic
Delaney Tire & Auto
At Delaney Tire & Auto, we take pride in delivering high-quality inspection, diagnostic, and repair services. Our team combines ASE certifications with years of hands-on experience to provide exceptional service and build lasting customer relationships.
We’re looking for skilled Automotive Technicians who can work independently while also contributing to a strong, team-oriented environment. As a full-service facility, we offer the opportunity to work on a wide variety of vehicles and systems—ideal for motivated professionals who want to grow and succeed.
What You’ll Do:

  •  Perform diagnostics using advanced computer and scan tools 
  •  Complete a wide range of repairs and maintenance, including: 
    •  Brake systems and repairs 
    •  Steering and suspension systems 
    •  Heating and air conditioning systems 
    •  Engine diagnostics and check engine light troubleshooting 
    •  Batteries, starting and charging systems 
    •  Radiators and engine cooling systems 
    •  Belts, hoses, and preventative maintenance 
    •  Tire installation, repair, and services 
    •  Muffler and exhaust work 
  •  Conduct visual safety and courtesy inspections 
  •  Maintain productivity while ensuring quality workmanship 
What We’re Looking For:

  •  Ability to work independently and as part of a team 
  •  Strong diagnostic and repair skills across multiple systems 
  •  Proven track record of productivity and efficiency 
  •  Familiarity with shop equipment (lifts, tire machines, alignment machines, scan tools, etc.) 
  •  Understanding of safety and environmental standards 
  •  High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred) 
  •  Valid driver’s license 
  •  Own tools (diagnostic scanner preferred) 
  •  Ability to service both foreign and domestic vehicles 
  •  State certifications (preferred)
