Title: IT Security Administrator
Work Arrangement: Remote
Duration: 6-Month Contract
Experience Range: 2-3 years
Our client is seeking an IT Security Administrator with 2–3 years of experience to manage day-to-day security administration, user access controls, and identity management across enterprise systems. This role offers the opportunity to drive process improvements and support critical IAM and regulatory initiatives in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
- Perform daily security administration including user account creation, deletion, modification, and password resets across multiple identity platforms
- Process Leave of Absence (LOA) and Return to Work (RTW) requests, and ensure timely access removal for terminated employees
- Assist the Service Desk with unresolved security and access issues, and escalate concerns to management proactively
- Recommend and implement improvements to simplify and automate security administration processes
- Ensure compliance with Security Administration Standard Operating Procedures and support regulatory, audit, and IAM directives
- Participate in IAM projects and collate statistical data for operational and risk metrics reporting
- 2–3 years of hands-on IT security administration or identity and access management experience
- ITIL certification (required)
- Proficiency with Sailpoint IIQ and OKTA identity platforms
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, LDAP, UNIX, and RSA AM VPN/Remote Access solutions
- Demonstrated expertise in Identity & Access Management (IAM) principles and practices
- Excellent customer service and communication skills for working with internal stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reporting and data analysis
