Foreman, Superintendent, and Project Manager

The Construction Laborer is responsible for assisting with all aspects of residential and commercial construction projects. This position performs a variety of physical tasks, operates hand and power tools, prepares jobsites, and supports skilled tradesmen to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the quality standards of Deep Creek Builders LLC.
Construction Laborers are expected to maintain a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to safety while representing the company professionally at all times.
Assist with all phases of residential and commercial construction.
Load, unload, and transport building materials, tools, and equipment.
Prepare and clean construction sites before, during, and after work.
Dig trenches, backfill excavations, and compact soil as directed.
Install and remove temporary structures such as scaffolding, barricades, and safety fencing.
Perform demolition and debris removal as required.
Assist skilled carpenters, roofers, siding installers, painters, and other trades.
Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
Follow project plans and directions provided by supervisors.
Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
Immediately report unsafe conditions, accidents, or injuries.
Maintain a clean and organized jobsite.
Safely operate tools and equipment.
Participate in safety meetings and toolbox talks.
Properly use and care for company tools and equipment.
Load and unload materials safely.
Assist with inventory and material organization.
Report damaged tools or equipment immediately.
Help minimize waste of materials and supplies.
Work cooperatively with supervisors, coworkers, subcontractors, and customers.
Follow instructions from the Foreman and Superintendent.
Communicate jobsite issues promptly.
Maintain a positive attitude and professional appearance.
Arrive on time and prepared to work each day.
Keep work areas clean and organized.
Remove debris throughout the workday.
Ensure materials are properly stored and protected.
Perform end-of-day jobsite cleanup.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Previous construction experience preferred but not required.
Ability to learn new construction methods and techniques.
Valid driver's license preferred.
Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
Ability to pass company-required background or drug screening if applicable.

The Construction Laborer must be able to:
Lift and carry up to 75 pounds regularly.
Push, pull, bend, kneel, squat, crawl, and climb throughout the workday.
Stand and walk for extended periods.
Work on ladders, scaffolding, roofs, and elevated surfaces.
Operate construction equipment and power tools safely.
Work outdoors in hot, cold, wet, windy, or dusty conditions.
Perform repetitive physical labor throughout the day.

Performance reviews will be conducted following the employee's introductory period and annually thereafter.
This position involves continuous physical labor on active construction sites. Employees will be exposed to changing weather conditions, loud noise, dust, heavy equipment, uneven terrain, and other conditions common within the construction industry.
