Role Description The Machine Operator role is a full-time, on-site position based in Houston, TX. The Machine Operator will set up, operate, and monitor machining equipment to produce tubular components according to specifications and safety standards. Daily tasks include reading and interpreting technical drawings, adjusting machine settings, performing routine checks, and using hand tools to complete and verify work. The role involves inspecting parts for quality, documenting production data, and collaborating with supervisors and team members to meet production goals. The Machine Operator is expected to follow all safety procedures, maintain a clean work area, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Machine Operation skills, including experience with industrial Machinery and basic equipment setup and adjustment.
  • Candidates should possess Quality Control skills, including inspecting parts, measuring tolerances, and documenting results to meet specifications.
  • Candidates should possess proficiency with Hand Tools for machining, assembly, and finishing tasks.
  • Candidates should possess clear Communication skills for working with supervisors, co-workers, and support teams.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, work orders, and safety instructions.
  • Attention to detail, reliable work habits, and ability to stand and work in a manufacturing environment for extended periods.
  • Prior experience in machining, manufacturing, or oil and gas tubular operations is preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in machining or related fields is a plus.
