Front Desk Agent

Days Inn by Wyndham – Ladson, SC

Pay: $14.50–$16.00 per hour (based on experience and availability)

Shift Information

We are currently hiring for front desk coverage to work combination of below shifts:

• Morning: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Afternoon: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Overnight: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Schedule:

• 2–5 shifts per week based on availability
• Weekend and holiday availability is required
• Open availability is required for full-time positions (4-5 days per week)

Days Inn by Wyndham in Ladson is looking for a dependable, guest-oriented Front Desk Agent who enjoys helping people and thrives in a fast-paced hospitality setting. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will help create a warm, welcoming experience while supporting smooth day-to-day hotel operations.

From greeting guests and assisting with reservations to answering questions and resolving concerns with professionalism, your role will be essential in helping every guest feel comfortable and cared for during their stay.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a friendly, professional attitude.
• Complete guest check-ins and check-outs accurately and efficiently.
• Answer incoming phone calls and respond to guest inquiries.
• Process reservations, cancellations, and room changes.
• Handle guest requests and resolve concerns promptly.
• Perform accurate cash handling and payment processing.
• Keep the breakfast bar clean and stocked during breakfast hours, and clean up afterward.
• Maintain guest records using the hotel property management system.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Follow all hotel policies, procedures, and brand standards.
• Assist with additional front desk, back-of-house, and administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel front desk or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Basic computer and data entry skills.
• Able to climb stairs.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to climb stairs
• Ability to use computers and office equipment throughout the shift.
• Occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
• Open availability, including evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
