Job description
Our client is a leader in innovative flexible packaging solutions, is seeking reliable and detail-oriented Packers to join their team. This is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where teamwork and product quality are essential.
Job Requirements Include:
- Must submit to a criminal background check.
- Must submit to and pass a drug screen.
- Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, and reach throughout a 12-hours shift.
- Davis Staffing, Inc. participates in the E-verify program.
- Measure product and document findings, perform and properly document a quality check
- Understand all aspects of product quality and apply them to scheduled quality check and perform evaluation requirements to advance through the pay scale, train others as needed
- Read and comprehend extrusion order form as it pertains to their position
- Maintain attendance in accordance with company policy, and wear required PPE always
- Maintain all items needed to keep production line running pertaining to packaging, i.e., boxes, cores, inserts, make boxes, cut cores if needed, package material. and other duties assigned
- Responsible for ensuring the proper handling of food packaging, when applicable
- Temp to hire.
- $18.00 per hour.
- Shift: 9:00PM to 9:00AM, Rotating day schedule (2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 2 off, etc.).
