***Shop experience is required for this position.

We are seeking a Production Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of screen printing processes and equipment. A willingness to learn and grow within the role is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Automatic screen printing press operator - Anatol Volt - Must be proficient in multi-screen registration on a silk screen press.
• Heat transfer press operator
• Pre-press tasks such as checking garments in, exposing screens, preparing ink, etc.
• Post-printing tasks such as packing orders, quality control, and reclaiming screens.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Perform other print shop duties as assigned by the Production Manager.

Qualifications:

• Good knowledge of screen printing processes and equipment. The more independent you can be, the better. We are looking for an experienced printer that knows their way around a t-shirt shop.
• Efficient at registering multi-color jobs on a screen printing press.
• Ability to work in a efficiency-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Pride in your craftsmanship.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and pursue a career in the printing business.
• Punctual. Must be on-time - all the time.

Physical Requirements: This position requires physical stamina, as it involves standing for long periods and occasionally lifting boxes.

Flexible schedules are welcomed. Our dress code is 'comfortable warehouse work attire'. We deal with ink and other chemicals at times so we recommend wearing clothes and shoes that you wouldn't mind getting a little ink or dust on.
