Employment Type: Full-time / Temporary-to-Hire (project-based with ongoing opportunities)
Shift: 12 hour days, 7 days a week
Job Summary
We are hiring motivated Construction Cleanup Laborers to support our large-scale data center project in Vineland, NJ. In this role, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site by performing general cleanup and debris removal tasks. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity in construction with room for growth on a major project site with hundreds of personnel.
Key Responsibilities
- Sweep, vacuum, dust, mop, and scrub floors and surfaces throughout the construction site.
- Remove debris, trash, excess materials, and waste from work areas (indoors and outdoors).
- Organize tools, materials, and equipment to keep the site tidy and efficient.
- Assist with site preparation between trades/subcontractors.
- Perform final cleaning of completed areas (wiping down surfaces, windows, fixtures, etc.).
- Follow all safety protocols, wear required PPE, and maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Other general labor duties as assigned by the foreman or superintendent.
Requirements
- Previous construction or cleanup experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to work
- Ability to perform physical work (lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, bending, etc.).
- Reliable transportation to the Vineland site.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with varying weather conditions.
- OSHA 10 certification a plus (or willingness to obtain).
