Job description

Job Summary:
Cymertek Corporation is seeking a skilled and proactive Oracle DBA (Database Administrator) to join their team. In this role, you will manage and optimize Oracle database systems, ensuring reliability and performance while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support database design and security measures.
Responsibilities:
• Install and configure Oracle databases
• Manage database backup and recovery processes
• Monitor database performance and resolve bottlenecks
• Implement and enforce database security measures
• Create and maintain database schemas and structures
• Support database migrations and upgrades
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's Degree
• Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL
• Expertise in Oracle database tools (e.g., RMAN, OEM)
• Strong knowledge of performance tuning
• Experience with database replication technologies
• Familiarity with data backup and disaster recovery strategies
• Ability to write and debug database scripts
Preferred:
• Experience with Oracle RAC and Data Guard
• Knowledge of cloud database platforms (e.g., AWS RDS, Oracle Cloud)
• Familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform)
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash)
• Experience with database monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds)
