DataONE Construction is Hiring: Safety Coordinators Vineland, NJ – Data Center Project

We are currently hiring Safety Coordinatorsto join our Safety team on the Vineland data center project. Reporting directly to the Safety Lead, you will play a vital role in maintaining a zero-incident environment by actively monitoring site activities and ensuring full compliance with all safety regulations across multiple trades.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Observe and monitor the construction site to ensure all workers and operations are in full compliance with safety regulations and best practices
  • Oversee safety for key trades includingElectrical, Welding, Rigging & Crane, Plumbing, and HVAC
  • Conduct regular site inspections, hazard identifications, and safety observations
  • Promote a strong safety culture with the goal of zero casualties and incidents
  • Work closely with field supervision and craft personnel to address safety concerns in real time
  • Assist with safety orientations, incident investigations, and daily safety reporting as needed

Requirements:

  • Valid OSHA 10 certification (Construction) required; OSHA 30 strongly preferred
  • Previous safety or trade experience (Electrical, Welding, Rigging/Crane, Plumbing, or HVAC preferred)
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
  • Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and a proactive safety mindset
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

  • Per Diem:$150 per day (for candidates living 90+ miles from the jobsite)

  • Drive Time Paybetween jobsites

You should be proficient in:

  • Industrial Construction
  • Language: Spanish
  • OSHA 10-Hour Certification (OSHA 10)
  • Industrial Electrical Experience
  • Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
