Job description

Why Renovo?
Renovo Solutions is a nationwide healthcare and life sciences technology management company. We offer a range of opportunities for employees to grow within the company. With a presence in 40+ states and a growing international footprint, we provide comprehensive solutions for managing and maintaining the equipment our clients depend on. We prioritize investing in our employees’ development, offering various phases and advancement paths. Through ongoing training, mentorship programs, and a supportive work environment, we foster professional growth and promote from within. Join our team to make a difference while advancing your career with Renovo.
Summary:
The Manager, Master Data and Systems owns the data model behind Renovo life sciences accounts. Asset records arrive from separate client systems with inconsistent nomenclature, incomplete entitlement records, and no single owner. Every KPI scorecard, audit pull, savings claim, and invoice downstream depends on that data being right.
This is its own seat rather than a piece of operations or quality. Data is a pillar, not a side task. KPI scorecards and audit-pull obligations are contractual, and a data problem becomes a contract problem fast.
The role reports to the Global Account Director, VP of Operations, or Director of Operational Excellence depending on account structure, and leads the Master Data Analysts and Program Analysts. It partners with Operations, Sourcing and Payments, Quality, Renovo IT, and the RenovoLive product team. IT owns integrations and platform development. This role owns the data model, the standard, the load, the validation, and the reporting that comes out of it.
What you will do:
Data model and standards ownership:
  • Own the asset, site, and hierarchy data model, and hold every region to one standard.
  • Own nomenclature standards for make, model, and asset type, and drive match rate improvement against the serviceable baseline.
  • Set and enforce data quality standards covering duplicates, blank required fields, orphaned records, and stale data.
  • Own the definitional layer behind every contracted KPI so a number means the same thing everywhere it is reported.
  • Publish the standard so it is usable by people who did not write it.
Data migration and load:
  • Own asset data loads, validation, and reconciliation from client source systems into the Renovo platform.
  • Reconcile records across source systems where the same asset appears differently in each, and document the resolution rule.
  • Own entitlement data loads in partnership with Sourcing and Payments, and validate coverage records against contract.
  • Define and enforce the acceptance criteria a data load must meet before a site is declared ready.
  • Plan and run data cleanse work ahead of any platform change, and prove the result after cutover.
Reporting and client obligations:
  • Own delivery of the contracted KPI scorecard, service reporting, and audit pulls on the required cadence.
  • Own the accuracy and reconciliation of client-facing reporting so regional and enterprise views agree.
  • Manage the reporting request queue from Operations, Sourcing, Quality, and client stakeholders.
  • Maintain the documented definition and calculation method behind every reported metric.
  • Turn data findings into decisions: surface the cost, coverage, and performance patterns worth acting on.
Systems and platform partnership:
  • Act as the business owner of platform configuration requirements, and route integration and development work to IT and the product team.
  • Specify and validate integration requirements with client systems. Do not build them.
  • Test platform releases against operational workflows and communicate change to affected users.
  • Maintain data documentation and controlled documents covering data standards and reporting definitions.
  • Escalate platform limitations rather than tolerating spreadsheets that live outside the system.
  • Follow GXP requirements, applicable quality systems, and OSHA and site safety procedures when working at a client site.
Team leadership:
  • Lead, coach, and develop the Master Data Analysts and Program Analysts across all regions.
  • Set the work standard and review discipline so analysis is checked before it reaches a client.
  • Own workstream readiness for new sites and new accounts against defined decision gates.
  • Build a bench so reporting and load work does not depend on one person.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical, scientific, data, or business field required.
  • 7+ years of master data management, CMMS administration, service data management, or business analysis experience.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience managing analysts or data staff.
  • Demonstrated experience owning a data migration at scale, including reconciliation across multiple source systems.
  • Strong working knowledge of CMMS or field service platforms and their data structures.
  • Advanced Excel required. Working knowledge of a reporting or business intelligence tool required.
  • Experience defining and reporting contractual KPIs for an enterprise client.
  • Proficient with Microsoft and Google software applications.
  • Experience working in a GXP or other regulated environment where data supports audit preferred.
  • Experience in laboratory instrumentation, healthcare technology, or asset-intensive service preferred.
  • Existing right to work in the United States required.
Education/Special Training:
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or relevant certification preferred.
  • Training in data management, business analysis, reporting tools, or quality systems preferred.
  • Where this role is based at a client site, escort of OEM and third-party engineers applies as it does to every site-based role, and escort qualification is required.
Required Competencies:
  • Accountability - takes ownership of assigned work and responsibilities, follows through, and closes the loop.
  • Data Integrity - treats a wrong number as a defect, finds the cause, and fixes the source rather than the output.
  • Definitional Rigor - insists a metric has one documented definition and holds every region to it.
  • Process Discipline - builds repeatable standards and checks instead of solving the same problem twice.
  • People Leadership - develops analysts and reviews their work before a client sees it.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership - works effectively with Operations, Sourcing, Quality, IT, and the product team, and respects the line between owning data and building systems.
  • Communication - translates data findings into decisions for operational and client audiences.
  • Customer Service - treats internal reporting requests as real work with real deadlines.
  • Integrity - can admit mistakes, is direct and truthful, and acts in the best interest of customers, employees, and Renovo.
Success Measures:
  • Nomenclature match rate against the serviceable asset baseline
  • Data quality performance, including duplicate reduction and closure of blank required fields
  • Data load acceptance at every site against defined criteria
  • On-time delivery of the contracted KPI scorecard and audit pulls
  • Reconciliation between regional and enterprise reporting views
  • Audit outcomes on data and record completeness
  • Turnaround time on reporting requests
  • Currency of data standards and reporting definition documentation
  • Analyst development and review quality across the team
Safety Requirements:
  • Abide by and follow Renovo safety policies, procedures, and injury and illness prevention expectations.
  • Maintain a safe working environment for self and others when visiting customer sites, laboratories, offices, or operational environments.
  • Follow applicable customer site safety requirements, OSHA guidelines, and laboratory or facility-specific procedures as required.
  • Complete required safety training assignments on time.
Physical Requirements:
  • The role requires the ability to speak, hear, see, read, write, type, travel, sit, stand, walk, reach, bend, and participate in customer site and laboratory visits as needed.
  • Must be able to use standard office equipment and technology tools, including computer, phone, video conferencing, dashboards, and reporting systems.
  • Travel approximately 15-25% to support site data validation, deployment activity, and business meetings, including occasional international travel.
Classification:
FLSA: Exempt
