Required Qualities:

• Passion to provide exceptional guest service and attention to detail
• Personable, charming, and well spoken
• Must speak English
• Warm and welcoming to both guests and staff
• Ability to cater to guest’s needs in upscale dining and casual dining format
• Able to work as a team player
• Ability to multitask; and work with a sense of urgency while maintaining professionalism and and high hospitality standard
• Must have good supervisory skills and able to delegate when appropriate
• Must have good communication skills and full understanding of menu 
• Successfully adhere to Steps of Service
• Flexible availability (TUESDAY and SUNDAY a priority)

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the management team and follow staff to execute service standards
• Perform opening and closing duties as required by the schedule.
• Extensive knowledge of the food to provide guests with a high quality dining experience.
• Assist in the opening and closing responsibilities.
• Developing relationships with guests, providing personalized service, anticipating, and delivering guests’ needs efficiently.

• Required Qualifications & Competencies

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role in a restaurant setting.
  • Curious and strong desire to learn about ingredients and preparations
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills
  • Ability to perform well under pressure while maintaining genuine hospitality
  • Passion for food, beverage, and exceptional guest experiences
  • California Food Handler Certification (or ability to obtain within required time frame)
