Job description
Our commitment to excellent guest service is what drives us, and we are dedicated to hiring outstanding individuals who share our passion for serving guests and preparing high-quality food and beverages. We are currently looking for a hard-working and motivated individual to join our team as a Crew Member. The Crew Member interacts with guests and staff in a cordial, efficient, and professional manner, helping them to understand our menu offerings and taking orders accurately. He or she will help with other duties such as cleaning and/or prep work.
The ideal candidate has a pleasant and courteous personality, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and strong guest service skills. Candidates must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. This is a great opportunity to get started in the foodservice industry, and we encourage you to apply now!
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greets all guests in a warm, sincere, and helpful manner
- Takes orders and serves meals and beverages promptly and courteously
- Ensures that work areas are clean and that equipment, tools, and supplies are properly stored
- Helps with other areas of the restaurant when needed
- Completes opening and/or closing checklists
- Arrives early and prepared and is willing to stay past scheduled time, if necessary
- Performs other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- One year of relevant experience preferred
- Point-of-sale (cash register) and credit or debit card processing skills
- Must have good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with customers, co-workers, management, and others
- Able to overcome obstacles while maintaining a friendly, positive attitude
- Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed
- Able to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
