This is a part-time, on-site role (3 days per week - 8 hour days) for a Fashion Production & Design Intern at Daily Drills. The Daily Drills office is located in Los Angeles, specifically in Brentwood.

Daily Drills is an LA-based lifestyle brand designed to make getting dressed fun! Founded in 2020, best friends and entrepreneurs Kennedy Crichlow (Ken) and Mary Ralph Bradley (Ralph) set out to create pieces that filled gaps in their own closets. A few text messages and a thousand !!! later, they sealed the deal with a Daily Drills patch sewn proudly on each item. From cozy loungewear to stylish workout apparel and vacation-ready resort wear, Daily Drills makes every part of your day a little more fun!!!

Our brand IS the exclamation point in our logo – we put emphasis on everything we do and approach each day with the energy of the “!!!” We want our customers to be excited to get dressed in Daily Drills, and that wouldn’t happen if our team wasn’t excited throughout every step of the process. By traveling the world and capturing our collections in the destinations we are inspired by, we bring our clothes to life, building not just a wardrobe, but a lifestyle representative of our signature exclamation point!

Responsibilities:

Production:

• Assist with production schedules and sample approvals
• Communicate with manufacturers to ensure deadlines are met
• Support quality control checks on samples and final products
• Track production costs, assist with logistics coordination, organize production supplies, and complete tasks assigned by the Production Manager
• Maintain organization of production assets, keep production binders up to date with printed cads and swatches of new samples
• Organize, hang, and steam all photoshoot samples upon receipt
• Measure and document garments to ensure sizing consistency
• Help coordinate the timely delivery of materials and samples from suppliers

Design:

• Collaborate on moodboards, trend research, and seasonal collections
• Source fabrics, trims, and ensure design specifications are met
• Provide input during fittings and track design revisions
• Assist in preparing presentation materials for design meetings and product launches

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Production, or a related field
• Organized, detail-oriented, with strong communication skills
• Basic knowledge of Adobe Illustrator
• Passion for fashion trends and design
