Ds Research

We are seeking a detail-oriented, motivated and experienced medical assistant to join our DS Research team. In this role, you will support our clinical research efforts and contribute to the advancement of scientific knowledge. This is a paid part-time and in-person position (Monday-Wednesday), offering valuable experience and opportunity for advancement in a busy and growing dermatology clinical research environment.

Responsibilities

- Assist with data collection and entry for ongoing research projects

- Prepare and maintain research materials, such as lab equipment and study supplies

- Obtain demographics, medical and medication histories, and vital signs

- Perform laboratory procedures, including phlebotomy and venipuncture for blood processing and shipping

- Conduct EKGs and dermatologic procedures per study protocol

- Collaborate with research team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of projects

- File documents and maintain accurate study-related records f experimental procedures, results, and observations

- Assist in the preparation study subject and regulatory binders

- Other research-related activities as needed

Qualifications

- Knowledge of medical terminology and laboratory/phlebotomy procedures preferred

- Experience working in a medical office, hospital, and/or laboratory setting is preferred and dermatology experience is a plus

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols accurately

- Excellent organizational and time management skills

- Proficient computer skills, including MS Office Suite and Google Docs

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
