We’re Hiring – Handbag Designer (Junior / Trend / Novelty)

DS Fashion NY is looking for a creative handbag designer to join our team.

We are developing new handbag collections focused on youth trends and novelty concepts for major retail customers in the U.S. market.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has a strong eye for trends and Junior culture

• Can design fun, creative, Junior handbags

• Is experienced in creating Tech Packs and CADs

• Understands materials, trims, and handbag construction

• Can communicate with overseas factories for product development

Qualifications:

• 5-7 years minimum in handbag design experience, must have experience in creating tech packs of handbags.
• Focused on the technical aspects of bag design, such as functionality, construction, material specifications, and ensuring that the design can be effectively manufactured.
• Proficient in the Adobe Suite (Primarily Photoshop and Illustrator)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90K-$100K
