Outpatient Podiatrist (DPM) - Diabetic Foot Care & Limb Preservation
$182,000-$200,000 Annually | Monday-Friday
East Bay, California
HealthYes Talent Partners is recruiting a California-licensed Podiatrist for a respected nonprofit Federally Qualified Health Center serving a diverse patient population in California's East Bay.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Podiatrist who enjoys hands-on outpatient care and wants to make a measurable impact through diabetic foot management, wound care, limb preservation, preventive services, and chronic disease management.
Position Highlights
  • $182,000-$200,000 annual compensation
  • Eligible employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program
  • Full-time, primarily Monday through Friday
  • Predictable outpatient schedule without hospital call
  • Approximately 21 patients during a typical eight-hour day
  • Approximately four to six in-office procedures per day
  • Strong diabetic foot care and limb-preservation focus
  • Collaborative care with primary care, endocrinology, and vascular services
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, retirement, and paid-leave benefits
  • Employer retirement match and tuition reimbursement
Clinical Scope
The Podiatrist will treat patients of all ages in a community-based outpatient environment. Common conditions and services include:
  • Diabetic foot complications
  • Wound care and limb preservation
  • Debridement and injections
  • Nail disorders and ingrown toenails
  • Infections, calluses, foot pain, and deformities
  • Preventive care and patient education
  • Orthotics and mobility-related conditions
  • Coordination with primary care and outside specialists
This position is designed around outpatient podiatric medicine and does not include hospital privileges or dedicated operating-room time. Complex surgical cases and hospital-based procedures are referred to local hospitals or ambulatory surgical centers. Diagnostic imaging is coordinated through outside imaging providers, and on-site laboratory services are available.
Qualifications
  • Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from an accredited institution
  • Active California Podiatrist license
  • Current DEA registration and CPR certification
  • Strong interest or experience in outpatient podiatry, diabetic foot care, wound management, or limb preservation
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
