Dmf Contracting

DMF Contracting is hiring an experienced full-time Remodeling Carpenter for residential and commercial remodeling projects. We're looking for someone with hands-on experience in carpentry, cabinet installation, trim and finish carpentry, flooring, tile, doors, framing, and general remodeling.

Experience is important because you'll need to be able to work independently at times. We're looking for someone who can understand the scope of work, stay productive, make sound decisions, and complete quality work without constant supervision. You should also be proactive and able to think ahead, anticipating what materials, tools, or next steps will be needed to keep a project moving without unnecessary delays.

This is a long-term, hourly position with pay ranging from $25–$40/hour based on experience and skill level, with opportunities to grow and advance. You'll work on-site at various residential and commercial projects, so dependability, attention to detail, planning ahead, clear communication, and a professional demeanor with clients are just as important to us as your technical skills.

Technical Skills & Experience

• Professional carpentry and remodeling/renovation experience
• Finish and trim carpentry
• Cabinet installation
• Door installation and framing
• Flooring installation
• Tile installation
• Painting
• Light plumbing and electrical
• Measuring and material takeoffs
• Ability to read technical documents, plans, and drawings
• Experience working with carpentry materials, hand tools, power tools, and woodworking equipment
• Commitment to jobsite safety and quality workmanship

Additional Requirements

• Good command of English, particularly as it relates to carpentry, construction, safety, and communication on the job
• Reliable transportation to various job sites; a truck is preferred
• Must have your own basic tools; specialty tools will be provided
• Must be able to reliably report to job sites as scheduled
