The Short Order Cook plays a vital role in preparing a full menu of food items including daily specials. This position requires timely order preparation, menu creativity, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness while supporting private parties and group events. The cook works independently and collaborates with waitstaff to uphold a safe and efficient kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare orders promptly as they come in, including breakfast dishes
• Develop special menu items to enhance offerings
• Create and maintain order sheets for inventory and food ordering
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
• Support private parties, group lunches, and dinners with food preparation
• Work independently with minimal supervision
• Collaborate with waitstaff to manage dishwasher duties
• Ensure food safety and quality standards are followed

Tuesday 12-6

Private Parties are typically on Tuesdays and Thurdays
