IT Security Analyst

DENPRO is currently looking to hire a qualified candidate for an IT Security Analyst position. Please note: This is not a remote position. 

Please note this is NOT a GRC or ISSO role.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Security Analyst to join our team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about cybersecurity and eager to grow their skills in a dynamic environment. You will play a crucial role in monitoring and maintaining the security of our IT infrastructure, identifying vulnerabilities, and supporting the implementation of effective security measures.

Job Duties:

• Monitor and analyze security alerts from various tools and systems to identify potential threats.
• Assist in investigating and responding to security incidents, including root cause analysis and documentation.
• Analyze emails for threats such as phishing and malware.
• Collaborate with the IT team to implement and improve security protocols, policies, and procedures.
• Support the review of access controls and permissions across systems.
• Conduct research on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and best practices.
• Create and maintain documentation for incident reports, security policies, and training materials.
• Provide assistance with employee security awareness training and phishing simulation exercises.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1+ years experience in Security Operations role
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
• Excellent customer service is a must!

Compensation:

• Competitive rate based upon level of experience.

Job Type: Full Time

Pay: 60,000 – 75,000
