About the Role:
Join DECOSTOLE CARTING INC as a Scale Operator and play a vital role in our waste management operations. Located in Brooklyn, NY, we pride ourselves on providing efficient and reliable carting services while fostering a supportive work environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate and monitor scales to ensure accurate weight measurements of incoming and outgoing materials.
  • Record weight data and maintain logs for compliance and reporting purposes.
  • Communicate effectively with drivers and staff to ensure smooth operations.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on scale equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Assist in training new employees on scale operations and procedures.
  • Support inventory management by tracking materials and weights.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss operational improvements and efficiencies.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in logistics or operations preferred.
  • Previous experience in a scale operation or similar role is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic computer skills for data management and reporting.
  • Commitment to safety and compliance standards.
  • Strong mathematical skills for accurate calculations.
  • Familiarity with weight compliance and safety practices.
