  • Light call schedule with fellows covering first call
  • Ambulatory surgery center (ASC) ownership opportunity beginning in Year Two
  • Multiple ASCs across the region
  • Strong teaching and mentoring environment with an internal fellowship program
  • Robust research program with opportunities for additional income

Culture
This group is known for its collaborative culture, mutual respect, and true work-life balance. Leadership values input from newer physicians, with a culture that encourages innovation, shared decision-making, and long-term career satisfaction.
Location
The practice is located in a desirable suburban area offering excellent public and private schools, affordable living, and a strong community environment. The region provides convenient access to major metropolitan areas including Philadelphia, New York City, Baltimore, and Washington, D.C., along with proximity to outdoor recreation such as hiking, skiing, beaches, and mountains.

  • Highly regarded clinical reputation statewide
  • Multiple hospital affiliations in the region
  • Established for over 40 years with strong community trust

Requirements
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited Gastroenterology fellowship
  • Eligible for or currently holding unrestricted medical licensure in Pennsylvania
  • DEA registration and controlled substance license (or ability to obtain)
  • Ability to obtain hospital privileges at affiliated facilities
  • Strong clinical skills in general gastroenterology; subspecialty interests welcomed
  • Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Interest in long-term partnership within a physician-led group

Benefits
Compensation
  • Year One: Total compensation approximately $430,000
  • Year Two: Base salary plus retention bonus and ASC distributions after buy-in, estimated at $650,000+
  • Partner earnings: Up to $700,000+ annually
Work-Life Balance & Physician Support
  • This organization is built around a physician-first philosophy designed to protect work-life balance while maintaining exceptional patient care:
  • Great compensation with reduced hospital time
  • Generous time off and sustainable schedules
  • Physician autonomy to make independent clinical and operational decisions
  • Flexible provider scheduling, controlled by the practices
  • A dedicated business management department that handles billing, compliance, staffing, and administrative operations-allowing physicians to focus on patients rather than paperwork
  • An environment that prioritizes time with family, friends, and personal pursuits without sacrificing professional growth
