Dakota Mechanical is growing, and we are looking for a skilled and dependable HVAC Equipment & Duct Installer to join our team. We take pride in providing high-quality HVAC installations and service while creating a professional, supportive work environment for our employees.

As an HVAC Equipment & Duct Installer, you will be responsible for installing residential and/or commercial HVAC systems, setting equipment, installing ductwork, and ensuring every job is completed safely, efficiently, and to Dakota Mechanical’s high standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Install HVAC equipment including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and related components
  • Install, modify, and seal duct systems according to plans and job specifications
  • Perform equipment change-outs and new construction installations
  • Read and interpret HVAC installation drawings and layouts
  • Properly use hand tools, power tools, and HVAC installation equipment
  • Maintain a clean and organized job site
  • Follow all safety procedures and company standards
  • Work collaboratively with installers, technicians, and project managers to complete jobs on schedule
  • Provide quality workmanship and attention to detail on every installation

Qualifications:

  • Previous HVAC installation experience preferred
  • Experience with duct fabrication and installation preferred
  • Knowledge of residential and/or commercial HVAC systems
  • Ability to safely operate tools and equipment
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in varying conditions
  • EPA certification or HVAC training is a plus (but not required)
