D1Training Westborough is Hiring! We are a new facility currently in presales slated to open late this fall. We have a need for a Lead Strength and Conditioning Coach- our Head Coach- to lead, build out, and develop a world class coaching staff.

If you are a world-class Coach & Leader who lives for developing athletes and building elite coaching teams inside one of the fastest-growing fitness franchises in the United States, this Head Coach opportunity at D1 Training Westborough is for you.

THIS IS NOT an entry-level coaching role.

This is a leadership position for a coach who can step in on day one and run the floor, command the turf, develop staff, and deliver a world-class training experience to every athlete that walks through the door — from 7-year-old beginners to college-bound and pro-level athletes to 40-year-old parents getting their lives back.

The Lead Strength & Conditioning Coach is responsible for leading the coaching team, delivering exceptional training experiences, and ensuring consistent execution of the D1 Training philosophy. This role also functions as a Personal Training Manager, overseeing coaching staff, driving training quality, and ensuring a high-level member experience.

This is a hands‑on leadership role. You’ll coach athletes, develop staff, and drive performance across the facility. If you enjoy leading from the front and building a strong team culture, this role gives you real ownership.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead and coach group training sessions for youth, adults, and teams
  • Provide personal training and individualized coaching as needed
  • Oversee personal training operations, including session quality and consistency
  • Hire, train, and develop coaching staff to deliver high-quality workouts
  • Support trainer scheduling, development, and accountability
  • Ensure all sessions reflect D1 training standards and philosophy
  • Track and improve member engagement and retention
  • Maintain a high-energy, positive training environment
  • Build strong relationships with members and support retention efforts
  • Partner with sales staff to support trial workouts and member onboarding
What We’re Looking For
  • 3+ years of experience in strength & conditioning, personal training, or performance coaching
  • Prior leadership or experience managing or mentoring a personal training team preferred
  • Strong knowledge of program design, movement mechanics, and injury prevention
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and hold a team accountable
  • High energy, professionalism, and strong communication skills
  • CPR/AED/First Aid certification (required)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science or related field (preferred)
Why This Role Stands Out
  • Lead a team in a performance-driven training environment
  • Direct impact on both athlete results and team development
  • Opportunity to grow into higher-level leadership within a scaling brand
  • Work with a diverse athlete base, from youth to adults to teams
