If you're a current or former collegiate athlete looking to bridge the gap between the field and the weight room, this is your next team.
The Mission

As an SSC, you are the face of the D1 experience. You'll lead high-energy sessions ranging from 1-on-1 specialist training to large team workouts. Your goal: implement the D1 training philosophy to help athletes (ages 7 to adult) reach their peak performance while staying injury-free.

The Game Plan

  • Lead with Impact: Conduct group, team, and 1-on-1 workouts for scholastic (ages 7-18) and adult athletes.
  • Evaluate & Program: Assist with athlete assessments and goal setting to ensure every member has a customized path to success.
  • Represent the Brand: Participate in combines, competitions, and marketing events to showcase the D1 Lakeland culture.
  • Safety First: Prioritize proper form and technique to ensure our athletes stay on the field and off the sidelines.
Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of Strength & Conditioning experience (Collegiate athletic experience is highly valued and can satisfy this requirement).
  • Credentials: Valid Personal Training Certification + AED/CPR/First Aid.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science or a related field (preferred).
  • Character: A positive, "over-the-top" customer service attitude and a deep passion for fitness.
