This is a hybrid leadership and coaching position designed for someone who loves developing athletes, enjoys mentoring other coaches, and is comfortable helping manage day-to-day facility operations. The role is weighted toward instruction and instructor leadership while also providing scheduled front desk and AGM support.

What You’ll Do

  • Recruit, hire, train, mentor, and manage baseball and softball instructors.
  • Maintain high standards for instruction, professionalism, safety, dress code, and preparedness.
  • Monitor instructor availability, lesson volume, and utilization.
  • Help promote new and existing instructors and grow their lesson schedules.
  • Coach and develop new or underperforming instructors.
  • Provide high-quality private and small-group instruction.
  • Build strong relationships with athletes and parents that encourage retention and rebooking.
  • Work scheduled Pro Shop/Front Desk and AGM hours, including customer check-in, phones, lesson scheduling, opening/closing, and follow-up.
  • Help drive lesson bookings, schedule utilization, and overall customer experience.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven baseball and/or softball instructional experience.
  • Strong ability to teach and communicate with athletes and parents.
  • Leadership skills and confidence coaching other instructors.
  • Professional, organized, reliable, and comfortable holding others accountable.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Experience hiring, training, or managing coaching staff is preferred.

Schedule

This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of 18–24 hours per week of Pro Shop, Front Desk, and/or AGM responsibilities, in addition to scheduled lessons. Availability must include a mix of evenings and weekends, with scheduling varying based on seasonal business needs.
