About YardView

Cypress Inland has been in business for over 27 years and continues to grow year after year. Our product, YardView provides essential yard management services to over ninety companies worldwide. Our program provides users access to powerful real-time tracking and motion planning for trucks, trailers, and payloads across multiple sites and facilities, granting them powerful tools to optimize their production pipelines.

We are looking for a Client Services Business Analyst I to join our team. You will learn the YardView platform and the yard operations it supports while assisting on the rollout of our software to customer sites. You will collect and validate client data, perform basic site configuration under direction, execute test scripts, prepare training materials, and take first response on the off-hour support rotation. You will work from the procedures and templates maintained by the senior members of the team, with your work reviewed before it reaches the client. This position reports to the Director of Client Services.

To be successful in this position you should have solid computer fundamentals, the ability to follow a documented procedure carefully and completely, and the communication skills to document what you did clearly enough that someone else can rely on it.

What You Will Do:

• Learn the YardView platform and the operational processes it supports, and build the product knowledge needed to answer routine user questions accurately

• Collect, validate, and load client data, reconciling loaded data against source files and flagging discrepancies

• Perform basic configuration and setup for new client sites under direction, following documented procedures and templates

• Execute test scripts as assigned and document results accurately

• Prepare training materials and job aids, assist with training sessions delivered via webinar or in person, and deliver portions of those sessions as you become ready

• Make routine changes to current customer sites as assigned

• Document meetings, decisions, and action items accurately and holistically

• Manage your own tasks and commitments against the project plan, and communicate status without being asked

• Participate in the 24x7 rotating coverage for off-hour support calls, providing first response and following the documented escalation path

Qualifications – What You Will Need to Succeed:

• 0–2 years of relevant experience; background in transportation, logistics, or information technology preferred

• Understanding of computing technologies including PC usage, windows, application configuration settings, and productivity software

• Good working knowledge of the Microsoft suite; exposure to SQL, XML, or HTML is a strong plus

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must. A key aspect of the position is the ability to document accurately and holistically. Communications must be clear to all audience members and provide opportunities for feedback concerning the content.

• Strong analysis and critical thinking skills

• Deadline and detail-oriented

• Willingness to learn the transportation and supply chain domain

Travel:

Requires up to 30% travel based on business requirements. At this level, travel is typically alongside a more senior analyst for site visits and go-lives.

Physical Requirements:

Requires the ability to lift 40lbs, must be able to climb in and out of tractors and trailers.

Benefits

● Flexible paid time off and observed federal holidays

● Remote work

● Parental leave of absence

● Competitive stipend

● One-time home office stipend

● Flat org structure, offering startup growth and learning paths
