Cut Fresh

Position Description

This is a 2nd shift position (approximately 5:00 pm - 3:00 am) Monday through Friday, with possible Sunday work (not every Sunday. Hours, start times, and end times may vary slightly based on production needs.) The Receiving Clerk is responsible for inventory / tracking deliveries of Cut Fresh Products to V Marchese, and ordering additional Cut Fresh Products for V Marchese from Cut Fresh. Other duties and responsibilities of a Receiving Clerk include:

Responsibilities:

· Properly accounting for the location of Cut Fresh finished goods for Cut Fresh’s other customers and separately for V Marchese.

· Ensuring no damaged items are sent or received.

· Comparing packing lists to company purchase orders and ensuring that the products in each delivery match the packing list.

· Updating the product inventory as products are received and added to the inventory.

· Completing any paperwork necessary.

· Prevent VM staff from removing CF items without permission / breaking open orders sealed for CF customers.
Physical Demands:

· The employee is required to stand, sit, walk, push, pull, climb, reach overhead and bend to the floor.

· Must be able to lift 50 pounds frequently.

· The employee is subject to production environment approximately 95 percent of the work time. (wet environment with cold temperatures < 45 degrees)

· High noise levels from operating machines.

· Physical hazards from moving equipment and machine parts.
Qualifications/Education/Experience/Skills:

· High school or equivalent required.

· Previous receiving or inventory experience required.

· Must have strong and effective verbal and written communication.

· Must be computer literate, be proficient in basic math, and read/write in English for department reporting and record keeping.

· Bilingual – English/Spanish required

· Forklift experience required stand up / sit down. Will be recertified by Cut Fresh.

· Experience in the Fruit and Produce processing Industry preferred.
