Service desktop technician with full life cycle experience meaning from user creation to decommissioning a user, troubleshooting custom applications - experience with knowledge base articles - custom application setup
Responsible for coordination & support of various IT processes and programs related to a variety of projects and initiatives within the IT Department.
Responsibilities:
ยทCarry out research on various technical subjects as requested by IT Team
ยทAssist other IT teammates in supporting all users including the vessels and our international offices (Japan, China, Europe) employees.
ยทMaintain corporate and vessel Active Directory
ยทInstall software/hardware on corporate and vessel computers.
ยทProvides front line & Tier 1 & 2 support to corporate and vessel users.
ยทImage and deploy corporate desktops and laptops.
ยทMaintain and perform audits of software, consumable, and non-consumable inventory, and accounts.
ยทSetup new Employees
ยทTrain Users on new software and products when needed, either one-on-one or small group settingsยท Perform new user setup, department transfers and terminations.
ยทScan paper invoices into IT Mailbox
ยทManage inventory of peripherals, including keyboard/mice, monitors, headsets, speakerphones, and network/computer cables
ยทManage/Deploy desktops & laptops inventory according to company replacement policy on vessels and corporate/remote offices.
ยทBe the first contact for users when they need help troubleshooting a problem. Triage incidents requests.
ยทManage Corporate Key Card Access Systemยท Rack and Stack Hardware
ยทCoordinate and set up IT/vendors meetings as needed including equipment needs, etc.
ยทParticipate in projects as assigned by IT Management
ยทEscalate/Assign incident tickets to appropriate team members.
Skills Required:

ยทKnowledge of IT General Controls (ITGC)
