You will take ownership of complex projects, both domestic and international, guiding them from concept through successful completion. This role blends deep technical expertise, project management leadership, and a strong commitment to mentorship. In addition to solving complex engineering challenges, you will collaborate closely with senior leadership to help shape the firm’s strategic direction and long-term growth.

  • Grounding and lightning protection systems
Lighting & Controls
  • Lighting level calculations
  • Design of standalone and networked lighting control systems
Advanced Components & Monitoring
  • Starline busway systems
  • Power monitoring, controls, and submetering solutions

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design of electrical, lighting, and fire alarm systems through all project phases
  • Develop electrical design scope based on client meetings and preliminary assessments
  • Prepare detailed drawings, engineering calculations, and technical reports
  • Select and specify electrical equipment and building systems
  • Assess and analyze the operation of existing electrical systems
  • Apply sound engineering judgment, creativity, and foresight to solve complex problems
  • Coordinate documentation internally and with clients, architects, and design partners
  • Serve as both Project Manager and Technical Lead
  • Prepare and review construction budgets aligned with project scope
  • Supervise and support staff across multiple concurrent projects
  • Mentor junior engineers and support professional development within the team

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) from an accredited institution
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant electrical design experience
  • Preferred experience with data centers, SCIF, and/or life science facilities
