We believe in promoting personal growth and resilience, enabling our clients to navigate their emotional landscapes successfully.

About the Organization

At Curis Behavioral and Health Wellness, we are committed to offering comprehensive mental health services that utilize evidence-based therapies tailored to individual needs. Our mission is to empower clients to take charge of their mental health and well-being. We incorporate innovative and effective therapeutic interventions while fostering a collaborative work environment among our dedicated mental health professionals.

Work Environment

The role is a remote opportunity, enabling you to effectively manage your work-life balance while contributing significantly to client care. Our outpatient office setting is designed to ensure seamless collaboration among team members, promoting an atmosphere of support, learning, and growth. Your standard work schedule will be Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 4 PM, with some flexibility based on client requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough clinical assessments to evaluate client needs, utilizing evidence-based practices to develop customized treatment plans.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), tailored to individual clients’ unique situations.
  • Maintain diligent and confidential clinical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring the highest standards of privacy and professionalism.
  • Collaborate with our interdisciplinary treatment team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health disciplines to design and implement comprehensive treatment strategies.
  • Engage in regular case consultations and participate in peer review meetings to elevate the quality of care delivered across the organization.
  • Educate and support clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment processes, and available community resources, ensuring they feel empowered throughout their journey.
  • Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in mental health therapy to provide clients with the most effective interventions.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve working with a diverse client population facing a range of mental health issues. This includes individuals dealing with significant trauma, anxiety disorders, and depressive disorders. You will play a crucial role in guiding clients toward healing and personal empowerment, emphasizing an integrative approach to mental health.

Qualifications
  • Must possess a master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid licensure in California as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is essential.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in solution-based psychotherapy techniques, adapting interventions to meet the specific needs of clients.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster trust and rapport with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities to navigate complex client case scenarios effectively.
  • A collaborative mindset, appreciating the contributions of fellow team members to enhance patient care outcomes.
Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of relevant experience is required, we highly value candidates who bring further experience in specialized therapeutic techniques or have worked within a similar outpatient mental health environment. Familiarity with contemporary digital tools for mental health practice is an asset.
