  • Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other medical providers to optimize integrated care delivery.
  • Stay informed of the latest research and advancements in the field of mood disorders to enhance your therapeutic approach.

As an LMFT at Crown Heights Behavioral Health, you will primarily focus on clients grappling with various mood disorders, including anxiety and depression. Building a strong therapeutic alliance and creating a safe, judgment-free environment for them to express themselves will be crucial in fostering their growth and recovery. This role not only emphasizes the importance of addressing individual mental health needs but also values collaborative family involvement in the healing journey.

Qualifications
  • Valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills necessary for establishing a trusting therapeutic relationship with clients.
  • Empathetic and nonjudgmental approach to clients' personal experiences and challenges.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle a diverse caseload and administrative tasks seamlessly.
Preferred Experience

Although not mandatory, candidates with experience in evidence-based practices specific to addiction counseling, family therapy techniques, or mood disorder management will have an added advantage. Knowledge in using digital platforms for remote therapy delivery can also significantly enhance your candidacy.

Compensation and Benefits
  • Competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
  • Access to continuous education and professional development resources, particularly in addiction counseling and therapeutic advancements.
  • Supportive, team-oriented workplace characterized by mentorship and collaboration.
