Autobody Technician (I-CAR Certified)

Job Summary

Crowley Auto Body is seeking a skilled I-CAR Certified Autobody Technician to join our growing team. This position is responsible for performing high-quality collision repairs in accordance with OEM procedures and shop standards.

We are looking for a dependable, production-driven technician who takes pride in craftsmanship and can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities

  • Perform structural and non-structural collision repairs
  • Complete metal work, panel replacement, and dent repair
  • Operate frame machines and measuring systems
  • Perform welding (MIG/spot; aluminum a plus)
  • Disassemble and reassemble vehicles (R&I)
  • Follow OEM repair procedures and safety guidelines
  • Conduct self-quality checks before moving vehicles to next stage
  • Maintain clean and organized work area
  • Communicate effectively with estimators and production team

Requirements

Certifications

  • I-CAR Certification (required or in progress)
  • ASE Certification

Experience

  • Minimum 2+ years collision repair experience
  • Experience with structural and non-structural repairs
  • Familiarity with DRP environments preferred

Skills

  • Strong metal finishing and body repair skills
  • Welding experience required
  • Ability to read and follow repair plans
  • Knowledge of tools, equipment, and repair software
  • Attention to detail and quality workmanship

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Comfortable working with tools, equipment, and shop environment conditions
